From its delectable food and breathtaking views to its exceptional staff and, of course, its irresistible Sangria, this restaurant never fails to captivate me. As I sit here in wintry Calgary, reminiscing about my time at Barcelona Tapas, I am instantly transported back to its open-air setting, basking in the warmth of the sun and marveling at the stunning bay views—the very best in all of Puerto Vallarta. Conveniently situated just four blocks away from the Malecon, it’s a gem waiting to be discovered.

My go-to order at Barcelona Tapas is their tantalizing array of tapas, typically two or three per person. Sharing these small plates is not only a delightful culinary adventure but also a fantastic way to sample a variety of flavors. Every meal begins with their renowned potato salad accompanied by freshly baked bread, setting the stage for the feast to come.
